Myrrh is the centre, a dry, slightly bitter, balsamic resin with a faintly medicinal edge, and absinthe adds an aromatic, aniseed-like herbal bitterness beside it. Jasmine brings a warm, rich floral layer, while vanilla sweetens the whole thing and softens the resin. Leather gives it a smooth, smoky depth, sandalwood a creamy woodiness and musk a soft, skin-like finish, so the scent feels like a single warm, enveloping accord rather than a sequence of stages.
