Lucky Moon from the French house Ggema, composed by Natalie Gracia-Cetto and released in 2023, is a bright, green citrus with a soft woody base. Citrus is the word everyone uses for it; just over half also find it woody or floral, about four in ten gourmand or green, and a smaller group ambery.

Mandarin, yellow mandarin, blood orange, bitter orange and bergamot make a full, juicy orange-family opening, with ginger adding a zesty heat and basil a green, peppery herbal note. Blackcurrant and currant leaf bring a tart, sharp greenness, and galbanum a sappy, bitter snap. The heart is soft and slightly powdery: neroli for a honeyed brightness, mimosa for a fluffy, warm sweetness, and orris root for a cool, suede-like powder. Cedar, Haitian vetiver and vetiver give the base a dry, rooty woodiness, tonka bean a hint of sweetness, and amber a gentle warmth.

Lucky Moon is worn by anyone. It suits spring and summer days and someone who likes citrus with green leaves and a powdery heart.
