It opens with juniper berries, giving a crisp, resinous, gin-like freshness. The heart is guaiac wood, which brings a smooth, smoky, slightly tarry woodiness. The base pairs patchouli, earthy and slightly dark, with cypriol oil, also known as nagarmotha, a smoky, leathery root with an earthy depth. Together they create a dry, dark, smoky wood with a little freshness at the top.
