The opening is light and sparkling, with bergamot and mandarin orange giving a sunny, slightly bitter freshness. Rose then comes through as the heart, but it is a transparent, dewy rose rather than a heavy jammy one, kept bright by the citrus around it. Musk underpins everything and gives the drydown a clean, skin-like softness, so the rose fades gently rather than deepening.
