The three ingredients each do a clear job. Peach gives the sweetness, ripe and velvety, with the slightly fuzzy, skin-like quality of the fruit rather than a candied one. Jasmine supplies the floral side, warm and heady, and it blends naturally with the peach because the two share a soft, almost creamy richness. Patchouli is the woody anchor, earthy and a little dark, which stops the pairing from becoming a simple fruity floral and gives the dry-down depth and length.
