Italian mandarin, mandarin orange and orange open it with a sweet, juicy, sunlit brightness, more fruit than peel. Peony gives the heart a light, rosy, dewy freshness that keeps it feminine without turning into a full floral. The base is drier than the opening suggests: cedar brings a clean, pencil-like wood, patchouli an earthy, slightly dark depth that gives the citrus some weight, and musk a smooth, skin-like finish.
Bright at the start and quietly woody at the end, it suits daytime and warmer weather, with enough base to carry into the evening. It should appeal to anyone who likes mandarin and wants it on a woody rather than sugary base.
