Geranium opens it, a green, rosy, slightly minty note that is the floral part of the story, sharper and more herbal than a true rose. Frankincense sits in the heart, dry, smoky and lemony-resinous, the smell of a church or a Middle Eastern souk, and it bridges the green opening and the dark base. Agarwood closes the scent, deep, woody and faintly animalic, giving it the weight and length that oud is known for. The combination of incense and oud suggests cooler months and evening wear, and a wearer who likes bold, resinous woods with a clean floral top rather than any sweetness.
