Enigmatic Aura by the Italian house Reinvented, released in 2025 and composed by Özge Erdoğmuş Altınel, is a dark, dense woody scent. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, and a minority also find it spicy, gourmand or musky.
Saffron opens with a warm, leathery, slightly medicinal spice that sets the tone. Agarwood is the core, deep, resinous and faintly animalic, and it is supported by cypriol, which adds an earthy, smoky dryness. Himalayan nard brings an unusual rooty, slightly musty depth that gives the scent its mysterious character. Cashmere wood softens the woods into something smoother and more velvety, vanilla adds a quiet sweetness, and musk settles the finish onto the skin.
