Eagle Eyed Stranger Eau de Parfum from the Omani house Ojar, composed by Jordi Fernández in 2022, is a green, smoky amber. Amber is what everyone notices; most also find it green and woody, and a third pick up spice, a floral note and leather.
Bay leaf and pimento open it dry, herbal and gently peppery. Lily of the valley adds a clean, green floral touch to the heart, while incense brings a dry, resinous smoke. The base is birch and dry wood, smoky and slightly tarry, with oakmoss adding a damp, earthy greenness, vetiver a dry smokiness, and amber and white amber a warm, resinous glow that softens the whole thing.
It is worn by anyone and suits autumn and winter and the evening, for someone who likes amber with smoke, moss and leather rather than with vanilla and sugar.
