Dulcis

Dulcis by the Italian house Eolie Parfums, released in 2024, is a sweet, nutty scent with a woody base. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand; more than half also find it woody, and a smaller group notices citrus, spicy, musky or floral sides.

Bergamot and lemon give a brief, bright opening, with cherry and grapes adding a juicy, slightly tart fruitiness. Almond and candied almond then take over, bringing a marzipan-like sweetness that defines the scent, deepened by honey and warmed by cinnamon. Orange blossom adds a soft floral brightness. The base is agarwood, cedar and sandalwood for a dark, creamy wood, with vanilla and tonka bean rounding it into a smooth, dessert-like finish.
