Saffron leads, warm, slightly leathery and faintly medicinal, giving the scent its spiced backbone. Raspberry adds a tart, jammy sweetness that softens it. Iris brings a cool, powdery, slightly earthy elegance to the heart, so the spice feels polished rather than hot. Papyrus gives a dry, smoky woodiness, and myrrh a dry, balsamic resin that lingers into the drydown.
