Alien Eau Extraordinaire is a floral citrus from the French house Mugler, composed by Dominique Ropion and Véronique Nyberg and released in 2014. Flowers and citrus lead equally, with woody and musky sides behind them.

Lemon, bergamot and Tunisian neroli open with a bright, clean citrus, and tea adds a light, slightly green coolness. The heart brings orange blossom and ylang-ylang, sunny and creamy, with tiare flower adding a soft, coconut-tinged warmth. In the base, white amber, sandalwood and white musk give a smooth, clean and gently warm finish.

About half of wearers find its longevity moderate, and sillage is mostly moderate too, so it is a lighter take. It is voted for summer and spring and overwhelmingly for daytime. It suits holidays, the office and sunny days, and someone who wants a brighter, fresher solar floral than the deeper originals.
