L'Eau de Chloe, released by Chloé in 2012 and composed by Michel Almairac, is a floral fragrance with citrus, woody and fresh sides and lighter sweet and green touches. It is a clean, airy rose with a mossy chypre base.

The opening is sparkling: aldehydes give a soapy lift, grapefruit, bergamot and citron a fresh citrus, and peach a soft fruitiness. The heart is a fresh bouquet of peony, rose and rose water, lily of the valley and freesia, dewy and light. The base adds structure, with cedar, patchouli, oakmoss and labdanum giving an earthy, mossy depth, softened by white musk.

Most wearers report moderate longevity and a moderate to intimate trail. It is voted for spring and summer and overwhelmingly for daytime, which makes it a natural fit for work, daytime outings and warm days, for someone who likes fresh, clean florals with a classic edge.
