Tangerine and clementine supply the sweet, juicy side of the orange family, while grapefruit adds a sharper, slightly bitter brightness that keeps the opening from being sugary. Ginger is the spice: fresh, zesty and a little warm, it gives the citrus some lift and a tingling quality. Tunisian neroli is the floral element, the clean, slightly green, honeyed scent of orange blossom, and it links the fruit to the flower of the same tree, so the whole composition feels like one idea seen from different sides.
