Santal Superfluide is a smooth woody floral built around sandalwood, released by the French house Les EAUX Primordiales in 2021 and composed by Amélie Bourgeois and Arnaud Poulain. It is worn by anyone.
Bergamot opens it with a bright citrus, joined by plum for a dark, ripe sweetness and saffron for a warm, leathery spice. The heart pairs rose with violet, a soft floral against a cool, powdery one. Sandalwood, including Australian sandalwood, is the centre of the base, creamy, smooth and slightly milky, with cedar adding a dry crispness, labdanum a warm resin, and ambroxan and musk a clean, mineral, long-lasting finish.
It suits autumn and spring and works well for daytime or evening. Anyone who likes creamy sandalwood with rose and a touch of spice should find it comfortable.
