Exquise Tentation is a sweet, floral gourmand built around almond and praline, released by the French house L'Atelier Parfum in 2021 and composed by Dorothée Piot. It is worn by anyone.
Bergamot and pink pepper give a brief, bright, lightly spiced start, with blackcurrant adding a tart, fruity edge. The heart is floral and powdery: rose, freesia, lily of the valley and iris together feel soft and slightly cosmetic. Then the gourmand side takes over, with almond and bitter almond bringing a marzipan-like sweetness, praline a nutty, caramelised richness and vanilla a smooth warmth. Patchouli and musk keep the base grounded and lasting.
It suits autumn and winter and evening wear in particular. Anyone who enjoys sweet almond-and-praline scents with a floral heart should find it appealing.
