Mandarin, yellow mandarin and bergamot give the opening a juicy, slightly bitter brightness, and red berries add a tart, jammy fruitiness. Cardamom and saffron bring a warm, aromatic, slightly leathery spice. Rose is the heart, full and slightly honeyed, with geranium adding a green, minty, rosy sharpness beside it. Rum gives the base a dark, boozy, slightly sweet warmth, sesame a toasted, nutty note, and vanilla a creamy softness that rounds everything off.
