The opening is lively: lemon and bergamot give a clean citrus snap, while ginger and cardamom add a cool, peppery spice. In the heart, hazelnut brings a soft, nutty sweetness against cedar and guaiac wood, which are dry and slightly smoky, with labdanum adding a resinous glow. The base settles into patchouli, sandalwood, ambergris and vanilla: earthy, creamy and softly warm.
