Velvet Gaïac by N10S, released in 2025 and composed by Shadi Samra, is a smooth, smoky woody scent with a soft, sweet finish. Everyone who describes it calls it woody; a sizeable minority also find it gourmand, and a smaller group notices spicy, floral, amber or citrus sides.
Bergamot and cardamom give a brief, bright, slightly green opening. Iris adds a cool, powdery softness through the middle that gives the scent its velvety character. Guaiac wood is the core, smoky, slightly sweet and faintly rose-like, supported by cedar for dryness and cashmere wood for a smooth, enveloping warmth. Patchouli adds earthy depth, and vanilla, tonka bean, amber and musk round the base into a soft, creamy, long-lasting drydown.
