Fleur de Peau is a bright white floral from the French house Detaille, released in 2014. Floral is the word everyone uses for it; about two thirds also find it citrusy, and a third woody or musky.
Bergamot and tangerine open it with a juicy, slightly sweet citrus brightness that sets a sunny tone. The heart is orange blossom, jasmine and tuberose together: the orange blossom honeyed and slightly green, the jasmine warm and rich, the tuberose creamy and a little heady. The three are kept light rather than dense, so the effect is fresh and radiant. Cedar gives the base a dry, clean woodiness, and musk a soft, skin-like warmth that keeps the flowers close and comfortable.
