Varens Sweet Coco Soleil

Varens Sweet Coco Soleil from the French house Ulric de Varens, released in 2023, is a coconut gourmand for women. Everyone who describes it calls it sweet, and about a third also find it musky and floral.

The composition is simple and sunny. Coconut milk opens it creamy, soft and sweet, more like the drink than the dry flake. The heart pairs sugar cane, which adds a raw, slightly grassy sweetness, with tiare flower, a creamy, tropical white flower that gives the scent its floral side and a sun-lotion warmth. The base is vanilla and musk: the vanilla smooth and rounded, the musk clean and skin-like.

It is marketed as feminine and is a summer and holiday scent by nature, best in hot weather and by day, for someone who likes coconut and tiare without anything sharp or woody to interrupt them.
