Musk Sexy

Musk Sexy is a soft, powdery musk from Ulric de Varens, released in 2019 and marketed for women. Musky and floral are the two words everyone uses for it, in equal measure, which fits a composition built on iris and musk with very little else.

Iris opens it, cool, powdery and faintly earthy, with a suggestion of violets and face powder, and it sets the tone for the whole scent. The heart continues the same idea with orris root, the richer, rootier form of the same material, and a general powdery softness that makes the middle feel like a dusting of fine talc.
