The notes are few and the picture is simple. Sea water and sea notes give a clean, salty, open-air freshness that sets the mood. Thyme and lavender provide the aromatic layer, dry, herbal and sun-warmed, the kind of scent one meets on a hillside above the coast rather than in a garden. Cedar and further woody notes make up the base, dry and slightly pencil-like, which is what keeps the composition grounded and gives it its woody lead.
