Le perce-vent

Le perce-vent is a pared-back scent from Serge Lutens, released in 2025 and worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it both green and musky, which is exactly what the two listed notes would suggest.

Clary sage is the green half. It smells herbal and slightly bitter, with a hay-like, faintly sweet, almost tea-like undertone and a touch of something cool and mineral. Musk is the other half, clean and soft, giving the sage a warm, skin-like cushion so the herb does not feel raw. With only two notes, there is no real opening, heart and base; the balance simply shifts from the herbal brightness towards the musk as the hours pass.
