Hors-Piste

Hors-Piste is a bright, spicy citrus with a green, woody base, released by the French house Bastille Parfums in 2020 and composed by Domitille Michalon Bertier. It is worn by anyone.

Orange, sweet orange and tangerine open it with a juicy, sunny citrus, sharpened by ginger and pink pepper, which bring a fresh, lively heat. Juniper adds a dry, resinous, gin-like coolness, and mate a green, leafy, slightly bitter freshness. Hedione gives the heart an airy, transparent jasmine-like lift. The base is cedar and ambroxan, dry wood against a clean, mineral amber, so the citrus impression lasts well beyond the opening.
