Bagheera

Bagheera is a dark fruity leather from the Norwegian house Malbrum Parfums, released in 2016 and composed by Delphine Thierry. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, two thirds add gourmand, floral and leather, and a third notice green and amber. It is worn by anyone.

The notes are staged. Black currant and blackberry open it with a tart, slightly green, jammy fruitiness, and truffle adds an earthy, musky, almost savoury depth that makes the start unusual. The heart is iris and black violet, cool, powdery and faintly sweet. The base is wide and dry: suede and leather for a soft, smoky animalic feel, papyrus and cedar for dry woods, oakmoss for a damp forest-floor greenness, vetiver for earthiness and amber for warmth.

There are no community reports yet on how long it lasts or how far it carries. Truffle, dark berries and leather point to autumn and winter evenings, and to people who like rich, earthy scents.
