Femme Magique

Femme Magique is a bright, sweet citrus floral from the Spanish house Angel Schlesser, released in 2021, composed by Ane Ayo and marketed for women. Floral is how everyone describes it, most also find it citrusy, and about half notice sweetness, with wood, musk and amber mentioned by a quarter.

Grapefruit, bergamot and citron open it with a sharp, zesty, slightly bitter burst, and raspberry adds a tart, jammy fruitiness that softens the citrus. The heart is a white bouquet with a twist: orange blossom brings a honeyed warmth, gardenia a waxy, creamy richness, jasmine a heady depth, and iris a cool, powdery softness, while liquorice adds a sweet, aniseed-tinged darkness that is the most unusual touch in the scent. The base is warm and smooth, with vanilla and amber giving a creamy, resinous sweetness, cedar a dry wood, and musk a soft, skin-like finish.
