Tra.ce. by Scentologia, composed by Kevin Mathys in 2021, is a floral fragrance with a strong woody side and smaller spicy and citrus accents.

Bergamot and coriander open with a bright citrus freshness and a warm, lemony spice. Bulgarian rose forms the floral heart: rich, honeyed and slightly spicy, it gives the scent its romantic centre. Orris root adds a cool, powdery and earthy elegance that pairs naturally with rose. Below, agarwood (oud) and cedar build a dark, resinous woody structure, and cade oil adds a distinctive smoky, tarry note, like a wood fire, that gives the drydown character.

It is worn by anyone. The rose, oud and smoke combination suits evenings, autumn and winter, and occasions where a confident, distinctive scent is welcome. Those who appreciate rose-oud fragrances with a smoky edge should find it a well-structured composition from the French brand.
