A rose fragrance with a spicy side: that is the shape of Ne Des Roses, which everyone describing it calls floral, about half call spicy and a minority find slightly sweet. Sabe Masson, a French house, released it in 2015, and it is worn by anyone.
The notes are not broken into stages, but they suggest a fresh, modern take on the flower. Pear lends a juicy, slightly crisp sweetness that brightens the opening. Rose, peony and freesia make up the floral body, with lily of the valley adding a green, dewy lift so the bouquet stays light rather than jammy.
