The opening is warm and earthy: cardamom and cumin give a dry, savoury heat, and artemisia a bitter, herbal edge that keeps the sweetness in check. The heart is rose and orris root, a rich, slightly jammy rose beside a cool, powdery iris, a classic pairing that gives the middle its elegance. The base is generous, vanilla and tonka bean for sweetness, amber for a resinous glow, and sandalwood for a creamy wood to bind it.
