Hawas Elixir from Rasasi, released in 2024, is a sweet gourmand with a fresh aromatic edge. Chocolate, vanilla and tonka form its core, but herbs and mint keep it from turning heavy too quickly.
The opening is bright and cool: artemisia brings a bitter, herbal sharpness, mint adds an icy lift and bergamot a clean citrus sparkle. In the heart, dark chocolate gives a bittersweet cocoa richness, benzoin adds a resinous, vanilla-like warmth and lavender keeps an aromatic, slightly barbershop thread running through. The base of white musk, vanilla and tonka bean is smooth, creamy and sweet, lingering for hours.
Performance is a strong point by most accounts. More than half of wearers find it long lasting and a good number call it eternal, while the sillage is mostly strong. It is voted for winter and autumn and clearly for the evening. Worn by anyone, it suits nights out, parties and cold-weather dates, for someone who wants a noticeable sweet scent with a fresh twist.
