The notes are listed together rather than in stages: mango, tangerine and lemon for the fruit, sage and wormwood for the herbal side, patchouli, sandalwood and tonka bean for the base. Mango is the unusual one, a sweet, tropical, slightly resinous fruit that gives the gourmand impression, brightened by tangerine and lemon. Sage and wormwood bring a dry, bitter, aromatic edge that keeps the mango in check. Patchouli adds earth, sandalwood a creamy wood, and tonka bean a warm, sweet hay note at the end.
