Frozen by Police, released in 2010, is a spicy masculine fragrance with a sweet fruit note at its centre. Everyone who describes it says spicy; about two thirds add gourmand, and a third find it musky, floral or ambery.
Eight notes are listed, without stages. Green apple and apple open crisp, juicy and sweet, which is where the gourmand impression comes from. Cardamom adds a cool, aromatic spice that suits the name, while pepper and nutmeg bring a drier, warmer heat as it settles. Jasmine gives a light floral softness in the middle. The base is simple: amber for a warm, resinous glow and musk for a smooth, skin-like finish.
