Tangerinepearl is a spare, spicy floral from the French house Perroy, released in 2024, created by Arnaud Poulain and worn by anyone. Spicy and floral are the two words everyone uses for it, in equal measure, which fits a composition of just three notes.

Pomelo opens it, a large, mild citrus that is sweeter and less sharp than grapefruit, giving the start a soft, juicy, slightly bitter brightness. Ginger sits right beside it with a warm, zesty, slightly sharp heat, and the two together produce a clean, lively, faintly tropical spice that is the main character of the scent. Iris is the floral half of the picture and arrives as the citrus fades: cool, powdery and faintly earthy, it turns the ginger and pomelo into something smoother and more perfume-like, so the drydown feels soft and slightly dusty rather than bright.

It is a light, uncomplicated scent for daytime and warm weather, worn by anyone who likes citrus with a spicy kick and a powdery finish.
