Grapefruit and bergamot open it with a tangy, bright citrus freshness, and nutmeg adds a warm, slightly woody spice. The base is green and woody: cedar gives a dry, clean woodiness, oakmoss and moss a damp, earthy greenness, which is where the green character comes from, and patchouli a darker depth. Leather adds a smooth, slightly smoky edge, and tonka bean a soft, almond-like sweetness that rounds off the finish.
