Osmanthus Elixir is the elixir-strength version of a woody floral from the British house Ormonde Jayne, released in 2019 and worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it woody and floral in equal measure, and about half add spicy, musky, fresh or citrus.

Osmanthus Elixir is the elixir-strength version of a woody floral from the British house Ormonde Jayne, released in 2019 and worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it woody and floral in equal measure, and about half add spicy, musky, fresh or citrus.
Grapefruit opens it with a bitter, sparkling brightness, joined by pimento for a peppery warmth and davana for a fruity, slightly boozy herbal note. The heart is built around osmanthus, a small flower with a scent somewhere between apricot and soft leather, flanked by jasmine sambac for richness and water lily for a cool, watery freshness. The base is dry and grounded: vetiver for rooty earth, cedar for clean wood, labdanum for a warm resin and musk to smooth the finish.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported, though elixir concentrations are typically the longest-lasting in a range. It works across seasons, leaning towards spring and autumn.
