The opening is warm and busy, with coriander, caraway, cinnamon, star anise and cardamom creating an aromatic spice blend, brightened by bergamot and fir resin. The heart brings incense, tobacco and suede, a smoky, dry and velvety core. The base combines patchouli, dried fruits, plum and sandalwood, a dark, fruity and earthy sweetness.
Most wearers find it long lasting, and the trail is moderate to strong. It is voted for winter and autumn and worn by night slightly more often. That suits cold days, dinners and evenings, for men who love spiced tobacco and suede.
