Curve Black by Liz Claiborne, released in 2017, is a masculine fragrance that people describe first as green, then as woody. A quarter also notice spicy, aromatic, leathery and citrus facets.
The notes are listed as one set. Bergamot opens it with a citrus brightness, and violet leaf adds the crisp, cut-stem greenness that defines the scent. Lavender and clary sage bring an herbal, barbershop tone, and nutmeg a warm, dry spice. The base is where it darkens: leather and teak wood give a smooth, slightly smoky depth, oakmoss and moss add a dry forest-floor feel, and sandalwood and tonka bean soften the finish.
