Bade'e Al Oud Oud for Glory, released by Lattafa Perfumes in 2020 and worn by anyone, is a dark, spiced oud and patchouli. Everyone describes it as woody; about half also find it spicy, and a quarter musky or aromatic. Among the brand's oud scents it is one of the less sweet.
The opening is dry and aromatic, with saffron giving a leathery, slightly metallic spice, nutmeg a warm, dusty sweetness and lavender a clean, herbal coolness. The heart is agarwood and patchouli, a resinous, smoky, earthy wood that forms the whole middle of the fragrance. The base repeats them, with oud and patchouli deepening and musk softening the edges into a smoother, skin-like finish.
About half of wearers find it long lasting, and a fifth call it eternal; the trail is strong to moderate. It is voted for winter and autumn, and strongly for night. It suits cold evenings and anyone who wants a traditional, spiced oud without much sugar.
