It opens with pink and black pepper for a crackling spice, and cherry for a dark, syrupy fruitiness. The heart brings rose and hedione, which gives an airy, transparent jasmine-like glow, together with cognac for a rich, warming boozy note. The base is dense and comforting: tobacco adds a dry, slightly honeyed leaf, vanilla and tonka bean a creamy sweetness, patchouli an earthy depth and cedar a woody frame.
