Saint Julep from Imaginary Authors, released in 2017, is built on the idea of a mint julep: a fresh scent first of all, with about half of those who describe it also finding it sweet, floral, aromatic, ambery or citrus, depending on which part they notice.
The notes are given as a single list. Mint and watery notes give it a cool, dewy start, and tangerine adds a bright citrus lift. Sugar and whiskey bring the drink itself, a soft sweetness with a faint boozy warmth rather than anything heavy. Magnolia adds a creamy, lemony floral, and ambergris gives a salty, skin-like finish that keeps it from being purely a cocktail.
It is worn by anyone and it is a light wear. People report the longevity as weak or moderate in roughly equal numbers, and the sillage is intimate for most, so this stays close to the skin.
