Irrésistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette is a rose built on cedar and musk, created for Givenchy in 2021 by Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Fanny Bal. Everyone describes it as floral, most also as woody and musky, and about a third find it sweet, green or fresh.

Rose is present in layers here: Damask rose for a full, classic bloom, and rose water for a lighter, dewier tone, so the flower feels both lush and clean. Black currant adds a tart fruitiness, and currant leaf and bud bring a sharp, green, slightly bitter freshness that keeps the composition lively. Iris adds a cool, powdery softness between flower and wood. Cedar, including Virginia cedar, gives a dry, pencil-shaving woodiness that is the backbone of the scent, while white musk smooths it into a soft, skin-like finish.
