The pyramid is compact. Bergamot, lavender and orange blossom open together, a fresh, slightly soapy, aromatic start. The heart pairs rose with violet leaf and ginger: the violet leaf is green and cucumber-cool, the ginger adds a warm, peppery lift, and the rose sits between them without turning sweet. The base is patchouli and guaiac wood, earthy and smoky, giving a dry, slightly tarry finish.
