Oud Touch is a 2014 men's fragrance from Franck Olivier that is sweet and floral above all, with a minority of wearers also finding it woody, resinous, ambery and citrusy.
Caramel and raspberry open it next to orange, so the first minutes are candied and fruity rather than fresh. The heart is a rich floral blend of rose, jasmine and violet, with frankincense adding a resinous, lightly smoky incense note and patchouli an earthy depth that keeps the sweetness in check. The base is amber, vanilla and musk, warm and smooth, which is where the scent spends most of its long life.
Longevity is its most talked-about quality: nearly half of wearers describe it as practically eternal and most of the rest as long lasting. Sillage is strong, and a fifth call it enormous.
