The opening is lime, ginger flower, coriander and shiso, a zesty, herbal start with a Southeast Asian feel. The heart is where it becomes distinctive: rice and coconut give a soft, steamed, milky creaminess, warmed by cardamom and cinnamon, with May rose and jasmine adding a floral thread. The base turns animalic and warm, with castoreum and leather giving a slightly dirty depth, vetiver an earthy dryness, and tonka bean, amber and musk a sweet, soft finish.
Most wearers report moderate longevity, and the trail is moderate or close to the skin. It is voted for summer and spring and mainly for daytime, and is worn by anyone who likes unusual, foody-but-not-sweet scents.
