Nectar de Costa Rica is a 2024 release from the German house Escada, a tropical fruity floral pitched as feminine. Everyone who rates it calls it both sweet and floral, and about half also find it woody or musky.
The structure is simple and clear. Mango and pineapple open it with a ripe, juicy sweetness. The heart is jasmine and orange blossom, two white flowers that add a creamy, slightly honeyed warmth without turning the scent heavy. Cedar and musk form the base, the cedar giving a dry, clean edge and the musk a soft, skin-like finish that keeps the fruit from feeling sticky.
