Especially Escada Delicate Notes is a soft, musky floral for women from the German house Escada, released in 2012 and composed by Jean-Michel Duriez. Floral is the main impression, two-thirds of wearers also call it musky, and a minority note sweetness, wood or citrus.
It opens with Japanese rose, or hamanasu, alongside pear for a juicy sweetness and grapefruit for a light bitterness. The heart is rose again, now with ambrette, a plant musk that feels skin-like and gentle, and ylang-ylang for a creamy, floral roundness. Musk and woodsy notes make up the base.
As the name suggests, it wears quietly: most people report moderate or weak longevity, and projection is moderate or intimate.
