Cherry in the Air is a sweet, fruity fragrance from the German house Escada, released in 2013. Gourmand sweetness leads, with a floral side and lighter woody, musky, leather and citrus touches.
Sour cherry, raspberry and mandarin open with a tart, juicy and bright fruitiness. The heart brings marshmallow and vanilla, which give a soft, sugary, candy-like sweetness, with gardenia and orchid adding a creamy floral note. In the base, white suede brings a soft, smooth leather, musk a clean finish, and sandalwood and oak a light woody structure.
Most wearers find its longevity moderate, with a minority calling it very weak, and sillage is moderate or intimate. It is voted for spring and summer and mostly for daytime. It suits casual days and weekends, and someone who likes playful cherry-candy scents with a soft suede finish.
