Green Tea Summer, released by Elizabeth Arden in 2005 and composed by Claude Dir and Rodrigo Flores-Roux, is a fruity citrus in the Green Tea family. Everyone who describes it calls it citrus; about two-thirds also find it gourmand or fresh, and a third notice green, musky or floral sides.
It opens on tangerine, bergamot, lemon and black currant, a sharp, juicy start with a tart berry edge. The heart is fruity and watery: watermelon and passionfruit bring sweet, tropical juice, water lily and cyclamen add a dewy freshness, and rose gives a light floral touch. The base of musk, oakmoss and white amber is soft but slightly dry, with the moss adding a faint earthiness.
It is positioned for women. As the name suggests, it is built for hot weather and daytime wear, and it is likely to appeal to anyone who wants a fruity, refreshing summer scent with a touch of sweetness.
