Yuzu opens it with a sharp, grapefruit-like citrus, softened straight away by cherry blossom and a hint of plum, so the first minutes are bright and gently fruity rather than sour. The heart is cool and clean: lotus gives a fresh, aquatic floral note, lily adds a touch of creaminess, osmanthus a faintly apricot-like sweetness, and tea a dry, leafy green thread that runs through the whole thing. The base is simple, with birch lending a slightly smoky, woody edge that explains the occasional leather comparison, and musk keeping the finish soft.
